3rd person POV
“Illumi, what the hell is this?” Y/n asked from inside the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror. The bathing suit that was picked out for her was an olive green bikini, the straps/strings with gold bits around them. (pic above, you can change it if you want)
“It can’t be that bad,” Illumi said from outside the door. He had his arms crossed as he waited for Y/n to come out.
The woman walked out of the bathroom with her hands on her hips.
Who the hell chose this for me anyway?
Illumi looked her up and down before turning away. “See, it’s not that bad.”
“Then why’d you turn away?”
“No reason,” He lied. Illumi was confused about this feeling. He felt heat rise to his face and had no idea why. (its cus of the hot mommy behind him😏)
What is this feeling? I don’t like it.
“This seems kinda inappropriate for a mother,” Y/n comments, messing with one of the strings to her top.
“MOMMA, PAPPA I’M READYYY!” came a voice from the hallway. None other than D/n walked in the room, wearing a pink strawberry bathing suit with a pool donut around her waist.
“Come on let’s go!”

Y/n POV
Once we arrived, D/n bolted straight for the pool before jumping right in. I set down our stuff before stepping into the water myself.
“This water is freezing…” I muttered while hugging myself. D/n swam this way and stopped a few feet in front of me, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“Don’t you dare, D/n.”
“Hehe, I dare!”
Before I could try and stop her, D/n gave a big splash to my face before swimming across the pool.
“D/N YOU’RE SO CRUEL!” I said while shivering, deciding to finally submerge most of my body. I heard the little girl giggling and a small chuckle from Illumi.
I looked over to where we set our stuff down to see Illumi…smiling?
Ok what the fuck? The world is ending.
After noticing my gaze he quickly returned to his stoic nature. I swam over to the edge of the pool and leaned on it with a smirk.
“What was that Illumi, hmm?”
“I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
“Oh come on, I saw that,” I said, leaning my head onto my arm.
“Saw what?” he said, continuing to pretend nothing happened.
Deciding to let it go, I say, “So what about you Pin Princess? Are you gonna get in here and tan that pale ass of yours or what?”
“My complexion is fine, thank you very much.”
I took a second to really look at Illumi. He had his hair pinned up in a bun, a few loose strands hanging out. I trailed my gaze down from his toned chest to his swim trunks which, coincidentally, happened to be the same color as my bikini.
This man is fine asf… wait I’m supposed to be mad at him.
I shook my head before making my way to D/n. She was playing around with a mermaid toy.
“Hey momma, is daddy getting in?”
“Im not sure actually, even though he did say swimming was a ‘good form of training’…”
After a few minutes of watching over D/n I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist.
First the smile now this…the world is definitely ending.
“Oh? Just what exactly are you doing Illumi?”
“Giving physical affection,” he starts. “Hisoka said it would help you be less defensive around me.”
I sweat dropped. “Really? That’s your reason?”
“Yes,” he answers, resting his head on my shoulder. “And I want more heirs.”
“Ha, you want me to pop out another baby? No way,” I scowled. “Besides, I’m still mad at you.”
“You don’t seem mad,” he said, kissing the valley where my neck and shoulder connect.
Ok maybe I’m not mad anymore 🦋.
“Yeah, yeah whatever,” I huffed, a blush gracing my cheeks. “Let’s give D/n another hour, I’m ready to head back.”
BONUS
I laughed at the sight of a red Illumi in front of me.
“HAHSSHSHEH YOU’RE SO PALE YOU GOT SUNBURNT!”
“Pink papa!!”
