Y/n POV
I sat in the middle of Illumi’s bed, humming while reattaching Mr Hopps’ arm. Illumi had stepped out a while to do god knows what.
I sighed, finishing up my stitch work. I held the bunny in front of me to inspect it further.
“I have no clue how something so pure could actually be a blood thirsty beast…. Well as long as you’re protecting D/n I shouldn’t complain right?”
I let out a light chuckle, knowing that the inanimate object couldn’t reply to me. I lowered my arms as I heard the door open. Illumi walked in with a box and placed it on the bed in front of me.
“What’s this?”
“Open it.”
I eyed Illumi carefully before turning my gaze back to the box. I placed Mr Hopps to the side and opened it slowly. Inside it was a long sleeved black dress with a slit on the side and a pair of heels to match. (only an idea, you can change it)
“What’s this for?? And where did it come from?” I questioned, staring into the man’s large, bug-like eyes.
He blinked at me before responding, “I said we would be having dinner with our family, did I not? I got it tailored.”
“Oh…” I said before furrowing my eyebrows, “but how did you know my measurements?”
“….I have my ways.”

“Anyways, get ready. We start dining in an hour,” and with that, he was out of the room again.
Why so formal, don’t they eat dinner together all the time in their everyday clothes?
I brushed it off and got changed. After changing I did <whatever> to my hair and decided to check on D/n, bringing her stuffed rabbit with me.
Once I got to her room, I opened the door and found D/n sitting in front of the girl who had been guarding the manor when we arrived. The girl was brushing D/n’s hair, as the child swung her legs back and fourth. She was wearing a cute strawberry patterned dress with white flats to match.
“Hey mommy!” D/n greeted once she heard me enter the room.
“Hello master Y/n, Illumi ordered me to help D/n get ready. My name is Canary by the way,” the girl from before introduced.
“Well thank you for getting D/n ready, Canary.”
Canary had finished up D/n’s hair, tying a ribbon around her ponytail. She stood up and bowed to me before stepping out of the room.
I handed D/n the patched up plush before leading her out the room and down the hall. As we were walking, Killua had exited a room all battered and bruised.
“Hey Y/n, D/n,” He greeted just as he was about to pass us before stopping in his tracks. “Wait, Y/N AND D/N?!”
“KILLUA!!!” D/n exclaimed before jumping on the poor boy. Killua caught her before looking between the both of us.
“So you’re D/n’s mom!?”
“Hey Kil, and yes I am.”
“I can’t believe I didn’t notice sooner… wait if you’re here and this is your kid that means-”
I only nodded my head while Killua gave me a look of disgust, knowing good and well who the father was and what had to happen to bring D/n into this world.
“Well,” Killua said while putting D/n down,” I’m leaving, Gon and the others are in the butler’s quarters. Bye I guess…”
He waved to us while descending down the hallway. After the brief exchange, we continued to the dining room.
By no means am I ready to face this family again….
